OSEIN’s virtual pitch sessions are designed to provide a structured, educational, and actionable environment for individual investors to learn about and engage with early-stage companies connected to The Ohio State University. These sessions reflect best practices from leading angel networks while prioritizing clarity, efficiency, and relationship-building. Deal Memos and diligence materials are made available prior to the meeting.
Format and Flow
- Frequency: Monthly or bi-monthly, depending on deal flow 
- Length: 60 minutes 
- Structure: - 15–20 Minutes: Company Presentation 
 The founder presents a detailed overview of their business and pitch deck.
- 15–20 Minutes: Live Q&A with OSEIN Investors 
 OSEIN members have the opportunity to ask questions directly, often covering business strategy, financials, risks, and founder motivations. This interactive format allows investors to assess the founder's thinking and responsiveness in real time.
- 20 Minutes: Investor-Only Discussion 
 After the company signs off, OSEIN facilitates a confidential investor-only conversation. This segment is designed to:- Share initial impressions and reactions 
- Collect follow-up questions for the founder 
- Build early interest and investor confidence in the deal
