COLUMBUS, Ohio: The Ohio State Early Investor Network (OSEIN) closed an investment in Superb Bakehouse, formerly known as Lopaus Point, on September 25, 2026. Superb Bakehouse is a Columbus based producer of gluten free, dairy free frozen waffles made without added sugar.
Superb Bakehouse was founded nearly a decade ago by Stacie Skinner, who began making waffles in her home kitchen when she could not find a product she felt good about feeding to her family. Superb Bakehouse grew from local farmers' markets to grocery store freezer aisles, and its waffles are now sold at retailers and delivered nationwide online. Every batch of waffles is made from scratch by Superb Bakehouse's team in Columbus, using original recipes and carefully sourced ingredients.
The investment arrives at a pivotal time for Superb Bakehouse. Over the past year, the brand opened its own manufacturing facility in Columbus and broadened its retail presence. New products are also in development.

Looking ahead, Skinner is focused on product innovation. "We have some exciting waffle innovations on the horizon that bring even more to the breakfast table while staying true to what we've always believed: a great waffle should taste great first."
